Performing Arts

1. Demonstrate involvement and improvement in a creative activity of your choice.
   Show evidence of your improvement over a period of time. Examples of possible activities include:

   1. taking part in a show

   2. being part of a stage crew working the lighting, sound or creating and moving props

   3. dancing

   4. being a member of a band

2. Perform or exhibit the activity to an audience.

This activity should take place from a minimum of 6-12 months

You will automatically get the badge if you have done for at least 6-12 months

• Played a part in a youth theatre performance (i.e. BigBadWolf)

• Participated in a Gang Show (i.e. Stirling Scout Gang Show)

• Performed in a School Show / Pantomime (including Nat5/Higher Drama Performances)

• Took Part in the stage crew (Lighting/Sound/Stage Setup) of a performance.

• Performed in a band or played a musical instrument professionally in front of a crows

• Sung in a choir (both school or professional)

• Took part in a dancing performance or routine in front of a live audience.
  
  

Alternative Path

• If you and members of a group rehearses a small act or campfire song and performs in front of a younger section or at a district camp

• Rehearses and sings, dances or performs at an AGM, Unit Meeting or District / Regional Event (includes WSJ & Blair Atholl)
